MNIMH stands for Member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists — the UK's oldest and leading professional body for medical herbalists, established in 1864. MNIMH registration requires completion of a degree-level qualification in herbal medicine, including training in pharmacology, clinical diagnosis, and herb-drug interactions. Members are bound by a strict code of ethics and professional conduct, and must maintain their practice through continuing professional development.

Contains pyrrolizidine alkaloids that are toxic to the liver. It should not be used internally under any condition, especially during pregnancy. Although no direct epilepsy risk is noted, its general toxicity makes it unsuitable for people with epilepsy. Pyrrolizidine alkaloids in rats were hepatotoxic, carcinogenic and mutogenic. Low risk but lengthy use is discouraged Topical use only.
